Affordable housing, homelessness focus of Cold Spring event

A “Housing for All” event will be held March 23 at the St. Boniface parish center in Cold Spring.

Speakers from the Minnesota Housing Partnership and Wilder Research, a nonprofit research and evaluation group, will address what affordable housing is, what leads to homelessness and how we as Catholic Christians can help.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon and includes lunch. Participants also will have the opportunity to assemble “Kits for the Homeless.” A free-will offering will be taken to cover costs.

For information, contact Teri Krowka at 320-597-2575, ext. 7, or email childrensministy@rspcatholic.com.

The event is hosted by the Rich Spring Prairie Catholic Community’s Justice/Charity Committee.
