The book, “By His Mercy 2: Living All In,” is an extension of the first book, “By His Mercy,” which was published in late 2018. Both books were coordinated by Tricia Walz, who lives in St. Cloud and attends St. Mary’s Cathedral.

Benedictine Father Hilary Donald Thimmesh, 91, died Aug. 11 in the retirement center at St. John’s Abbey, Collegeville. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Aug. 16 at 3:30 p.m. in St. John’s Abbey and University Church with interment in the St. John’s Cemetery following the service.

Deacon Jerome Roth, 93, died Aug. 7 at the VA Medical Center in St. Cloud. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Aug. 12 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Bowlus with Bishop Donald Kettler officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
