As of May 23, contributions to the 2019 Bishop’s Annual Appeal have reached $887,320 in gifts and pledges. A total of 6,016 people have donated, with an average gift of $147.49 per donor.

Father James Albert Thoennes, 80, died April 26 at North Ridge Care Center, New Hope, Minnesota. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon on Wednesday, May 1, at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Parish, Millerville, with burial in the parish cemetery.
