Catholic high schools announce graduation ceremonies

St. John’s Preparatory School

St. John’s Preparatory School in Collegeville will hold its graduation ceremonies Saturday, May 27, in St. John’s Abbey Church and Great Hall, St. John’s University campus.

The baccalaureate Mass is at 10 a.m. Bishop Donald Kettler will preside, with Abbot John Klassen and headmaster Father Jonathan Licari concelebrating. Diplomas will be presented to 50 graduates during commencement. The student speaker is Salma Muftah of St. Cloud. Charles Miller, physics teacher, is the faculty speaker.


Cathedral High School

Cathedral High School in St. Cloud will hold its baccalaureate Mass at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, at St. Mary’s Cathedral, St. Cloud. Bishop Donald Kettler will preside.

Commencement is at 8 p.m. Friday, May 26, at Cathedral High School’s North Gym. Bishop Donald Kettler will confer diplomas to 105 graduates. The student speaker is valedictorian Mitchell Shimak, a member of St. Joseph Parish, St. Joseph. The guest speaker is Debra Klein, a 1997 Cathedral graduate.
