WEDNESDAY, JULY 3

St. Joseph • St. Joseph Parish Festival starts at 5 p.m. “Joetown Rocks” — free concert from 6 p.m. to midnight — features The Killer Vees, Brat Pack Radio, Collective Unconscious and Phil Thompson. Bingo, games, food and refreshments. Fireworks at 10:15 p.m.

THURSDAY, JULY 4

Duelm • St. Lawrence Parish Festival features chicken and ham dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in air-conditioned hall. Stands open at 11 a.m. Bingo, games for all ages, music (Stifle), raffle at 4 p.m. (Car show in town.)

St. Joseph • St. Joseph Parish Festival continues with parade at 10 a.m. Bingo, games for all ages, food/beverages at 11 a.m. Music (Smok’N Guns) from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Quilt auction at 1:30 p.m. Raffle at 3:30 p.m.

SUNDAY, JULY 7

Avon • St. Benedict Parish Sesquicentennial Celebration indoor polka Mass at 10 a.m. (with Gene Ostendorf Band). Activities from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Food/refreshments, beer garden, bingo, games for all ages, inflatables, fish pond, straw stand, cake walk, farmers market, crafts and live music. Sportsman raffle. Quilt auction at 3 p.m. Grand raffle at 7 p.m.

Bowlus • Annual Bowlus Day Celebration. Outdoor polka Mass at 10 a.m. (with Joyce and Jerry) at St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish, weather permitting. Day of events downtown follows Mass — parade, activities in city park, street dance from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Fireworks at 10 p.m.

SATURDAY, JULY 13

Freeport • Sacred Heart Parish Festival food, beer/pop stands open at noon. Parade at 1 p.m., kids’ games from 2 to 10 p.m. Free bounce house/water wars. Launch pad $5 a time. Quilt raffle at 7:30 p.m. Grand raffle at 8 p.m. Movie at 8 p.m. Music (Fred Savage and the Unbeatables) from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Holdingford • Registration for Tractor Blessing and Fun Run begins at 9 a.m. at Holdingford High School parking lot. Tractor blessing at 9:45 a.m. and run at 10 a.m. Events start at 10 a.m. (Details: holdingforddaze.com.) Outdoor Mass at All Saints Parish at 4 p.m.

Menahga • Assumption of Our Lady Parish sponsors food booth from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. in air-conditioned parish hall as part of Menahga Midsummer Celebration. Christian Women quilt raffle.

Pearl Lake/Marty • Holy Cross Parish Festival 5K “Pork Chop Trot” walk/run registration at 8 a.m. and 1K kids’ walk/run registration at 9 a.m. Polka Mass (with Dale Dahmen and The Polka Beats) at 4 p.m. Grilled pork chops and sweet corn from 5 to 8 p.m. Beer garden/ hamburger stand from 5 p.m. to midnight. Pull tabs, wheel of fortune, games/train ride for children, silent auction, cake walk. Beanbag tournament registration at 7 p.m. Meat raffle from 6 to 8 p.m. Raffle at 8:30 p.m. Street dance (Smok’N Guns) from 8 p.m. to midnight.

SUNDAY, JULY 14

Freeport • Sacred Heart Parish Festival wraps up with indoor polka Mass (with Dale Dahmen and the Polka Beats) at 8 a.m. followed by beer and gun raffles.

Osakis • Immaculate Conception Parish Festival outdoor polka Mass at 10:30 a.m. Barbecue pork chop dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Food stands, beer garden, bingo, games for all ages, country store, live music, silent auction, live auction and raffle.

SUNDAY, JULY 21

Foley • St. John Parish Bazaar indoor Mass at 10 a.m. Food/refreshment stands, booths/games for all ages from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Music with DJ, bingo, inflatable sports game, water balloon wars, bake sale, cake walk, used book stand, silent auction. Raffle at 4:15 p.m.

Flensburg • Sacred Heart Parish Bazaar indoor polka Mass at 10 a.m. followed by parade at 11:30 a.m. Gorka’s chicken dinner from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., kids’ games, food/refreshment stands, cake walk, music (Jerry Bierschbach), farmers market, silent auction, live auction at 1:30 p.m. and raffle at 3:30 p.m.

Millerville • Our Lady of Seven Dolors Parish Millerville Bazaar Mass at 10:30 a.m. Homestyle chicken dinner from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in air-conditioned dining room. Music (Jackpine & Moose), bingo, silent auction, gaming, kiddie games, train rides, beer garden, cash and quilt raffles.

Rice • Immaculate Conception Parish Summerfest outdoor Mass (with Slew Foot Family Band) at 10 a.m. Roast pork dinner from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in air-conditioned hall. Beer, pop/food, cash bingo, pull tabs, games for kids, barrel train rides, pedal tractor pull competition, cake walk, country store, basket raffle, silent auction, nail lumberjack contest. Music 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Slew Foot Family Band, BLT Band). Grand raffle at 5 p.m.

SATURDAY, JULY 27

Little Falls • Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Bazaar Mass (praise and worship music by Rise Above) at 4 p.m. Food/refreshments. Silent auction. Entertainment from 5 to 7 p.m. (Virg and the Eldorados). Live auction at 7:30 p.m. (Event continues Sunday.)
Pelican Rapids • St. Leonard of Port Mauritus Parish hosts Pork-in-the-Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on church grounds in conjunction with city-wide Art in the Park event. Mass in church at 4 p.m.

SUNDAY, JULY 28

Hillman • St. Rita Parish Bazaar Mass at 10:30 a.m. Homemade chicken and ham dinner in handicapped-accessible, air-conditioned hall from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Food/refreshments, cake walk, bingo, pull tabs, bake sale, games for all ages. Sportsmen’s raffles. Fancywork, crafts and theme basket auction. Grand raffle at 5 p.m.

Little Falls • Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Bazaar continues with Masses at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. (polka and country Gospel music by LaVerne & Friends). Homemade chicken and ham dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Food stands, beer wagon, arts/ crafts, kiddie games, silent auction, bingo, pull tabs and entertainment (The Main Squeeze Band) from noon to 4 p.m. “Gone Bizarre” raffle at 3:30 p.m. All cash raffle at 4 p.m.

Luxemburg • St. Wendelin Parish Bazaar indoor Mass at 10 a.m. Chicken and ham dinner in air-conditioned dining area (and outside) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Food/ refreshments, beer garden, bingo, pull tabs, games for all ages, fancywork/crafts, bake stand, cake walk, kiddie fun, barrel locomotive rides and inflatables. Music (Nathan’s Old Time Band and BLT), quilt auction and raffle at 5 p.m.
