The Our Lady of Mount Carmel Lay Carmelite Community of St. Cloud received the final professions of three members.
Odelia Aguirre was professed at the Annunciation Hermitage in Austin, Minnesota. Bishop John Quinn of Winona, Minnesota, and Carmelite Father Jon Moore officiated. Bill Riner and Verdelle Dingman were professed at St. Mary’s Cathedral, St. Cloud, with Father Doug Liebsch officiating.
Carmelite Christians “seek to live a life of allegiance to Jesus Christ.” The call to a Lay Carmelite vocation is a call to seek the presence of God in prayer, in community and in service.
