Rwandan genocide survivor to speak Nov. 12

Immaculée Ilibagiza, a Rwandan genocide survivor, will share her inspiring story, titled “Faith and Forgiveness,” at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, at St. Anthony Church, St. Cloud.

There is no fee for her talk, which is sponsored by the Area Catholic Community comprised of the St. Cloud area parishes of St. Anthony, Christ Church Newman Center, Holy Spirit, St. Augustine, St. John Cantius and St. Mary’s Cathedral, and the Wil Illies Memorial Committee. Her book “Left to Tell” describes her ordeal, the power of prayer and the miracles of the rosary. “One voice told me to give up,” she said of the experience. “The other reminded me who my God is.”
