Lino Rulli, host of “The Catholic Guy” on SiriusXM satellite radio, has been selected to be the 2019 McCarthy Resident by the Eugene J. McCarthy Center for Public Policy and Civic Engagement at St. John’s University in Collegeville.
“Fragmented Beauty” is the subject of a new exhibition at the Hill Museum and Manuscript Library at St. John’s University in Collegeville featuring manuscript fragments of European and non-European origin that span over 1,500 years.
“We’re not going to change the minds of the haters,” Read said, “but I see this as a way to reassure people who are potentially targeted or discriminated against that there are people in the community who are on their side. We may not be as vocal or as obvious as some of the ugly things they’ve seen, but we are here.”
The decision, which they said was made “in the best interest of all of our students and the future of our institutions,” was announced Dec. 8 in a letter to the campus communities in St. Joseph and Collegeville.
