On Friday, Aug. 5, the Melrose/Sauk Centre Deanery of the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women will host a tour of Year of Mercy chapels in the St. Cloud Diocese. The day begins with Mass at 7 a.m. at Our Lady of Angels Church in Sauk Centre, followed by a visit to the Divine Mercy Shrine at St. Paul Church, also in Sauk Centre, and a continental breakfast at St. Paul’s.
The tour continues to the Shrine of St. Peregrine at St. John’s Abbey in Collegeville, the Assumption (Grasshopper) Chapel in Cold Spring, the Shrine of St. Cloud at St. Mary’s Cathedral, and finally to the Shrine of St. Odilia at the Crosier Priory in Onamia.
The tour is open to all interested participants. All are asked to carpool and bring a bag lunch. Participants may join the tour for the entire day, or just part of it, as they wish.
