First-place winners, one in each of four grade categories, were chosen from among 154 entries in The Visitor’s annual Christmas poster contest. Young artists were invited to complete and then illustrate the sentence: “I unwrap the real gift of Christmas when … .”
Entries were judged on originality and artistic ability as well as how well the artist interpreted the theme and how well the artwork would reproduce. The first-place winners each receive a $50 prize.
