St. Augusta • St. Mary Help of Christians Parish Festival begins with indoor polka Mass at 10 a.m. Music by Leon Laudenbach and Steel Rail from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Event includes food and beverage stands, bingo, bountiful baskets, cake walk, children’s games, inflatables, crafts and fancy work, book nook, ring toss, train rides. Live quilt auction at 3 p.m. Raffle drawing at 5 p.m.

Saturday, June 28

 Melrose • St. Mary’s Parish polka Mass begins at 4 p.m. at Sauk River Park area. Parade at 6 p.m. Parish raffle drawing — with 18 cash prizes (grand prize of $20,000 and second prize of $5,000) held at approximately 9 p.m. Tickets are $100 each. Only 1,000 chances will be sold. (Must be 18 or older to win. Need not be present to win.) St. Martin • St. Martin Parish Festival starts with stands opening at 11 a.m. Event includes PeeWee Home Run Derby, beanbag tournament and vintage auto show. Live music from 12:30 to 11:30 p.m. featuring the St. Martin City Band, Two for the Road, The Bank Band and headliners Stone Road. Burgers and beer garden, games for all ages and meat raffle all day. Children’s raffle at 3:30 p.m. Mass celebrated at 5 p.m. (Jubilarians honored.) Quilt auction at 6:30 p.m. Cash raffle drawing at 7:30 p.m. St. Joseph Society ATV raffle at 9 p.m.

Brennyville • St. Elizabeth Parish Festival begins with Mass at 10 a.m. Event includes beer wagon and food stands, fancywork stand, prize bingo, pull tabs, basket raffle, cake walk and activities for kids up to 16 with one-time ticket charge for all day. St. Anna • Immaculate Conception Church Bazaar begins with 10 a.m. Mass in air-conditioned church. Event (from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.) includes food court, beer gardens, music by 57 Chevy, silent auction, bingo, pull tabs, paddle wheel and games for kids. Quilt raffle, gun raffle and cash raffle drawings at 5 p.m. (Parish is 5 miles north of Avon.)

Sobieski • St. Stanislaus Parish Summer Bazaar begins with a Mass at 10 a.m. at the church. Home cooked chicken dinner served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Hamburger and hot dog stand. Homemade pie and ice cream. Polish coffee cakes sale. Event includes beer garden, live polka music by Twin Cities Soundz, quilt bingo, silent auction, bountiful baskets, cake walk, quilt raffle and games for all ages. All-cash raffle drawing (over $6,000 in prizes) at 3:30 p.m.

St. Joseph • St. Joseph Parish Festival starts with bingo, games and food and refreshments served from 5 to 11 p.m. “Joetown Rocks” — free concert from 6 to 10:15 p.m. — features The Killer Vees, Michael Shynes and Honeysuckle. Fireworks at 10:15 p.m. (Festival continues Friday.)

St. Joseph • St. Joseph Parish Festival continues from Thursday starting with parade at 10 a.m. Event includes bingo, games for the whole family, food and beverages starting at 11 a.m. Live music from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Quilt auction at 1 p.m. Raffle drawing at 3 p.m.

Sunday, July 6

Bowlus • Annual Bowlus Day celebration begins with an outdoor polka Mass at 10 a.m. with music by Joyce and Jerry at St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish, weather permitting. Following Mass, the Bowlus Fire & Rescue Department sponsors a day of events with a parade downtown at 11:15 a.m. and activities in the city park, ending with fireworks at 10 p.m. and a street dance from 7 to 11 p.m.

Saturday, July 12

 Flensburg • Sacred Heart Parish hosts parish bazaar starting with Mass at 4 p.m. in air-conditioned church. “Gorka’s Chicken” with all-the-trimmings. Silent auction. Raffle drawing at 7 p.m. Two top prizes of $5,000. (Parish is located 8 miles west of Little Falls.)

Menahga • Assumption of Our Lady Parish sponsors food booth including sloppy joes, hot dogs and homemade pie from 3:30 to 9 p.m. in air-conditioned parish hall as part of the Menahga Midsummer Celebration. Event includes Christian Women quilt raffle.

Pearl Lake/Marty • Holy Cross Parish Party takes place under the pavilion behind the school. Starting at 5 p.m., event includes hamburger stand, beer garden and bean bag tournament. Live music with Leon Laudenbach and Steel Rail from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Grand raffle drawing at 8 p.m. Need not be present to win. Tickets: $30/only 650 sold. ($5,000 grand prize.)

Sunday, July 13

Avon • St. Benedict Parish festival starts on church grounds with outdoor polka Mass at 10 a.m. with music by the Jerry and Joyce Band. (Bring chairs.) Event includes food and refreshment stands, beer garden, games for all ages, all-day bingo, pull tabs, straw stand, cake walk and meat raffle. New this year: Charlie the Clown (12:30 to 3 p.m.), unicycle show and balloon animals. Live music by Two for the Road from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Sportsman’s raffle. Quilt auction and theme-basket drawings at 2:30 p.m. Grand raffle at 6 p.m. Cash raffle grand prize is $5,000.

Duelm • St. Lawrence Parish Festival stands open at 11 a.m. Event includes live music by Stifle, concessions, beer garden, bingo, Grandma’s attic, silent auction and games for kids. Tractor and classic car show — weather permitting. Raffle drawing at 4 p.m. (Over $14,000 in prizes. Top prize $1,500. Two $1,000 prizes.)

Millerville • Our Lady of Seven Dolors Parish hosts Social Gathering beginning with 10:30 a.m. indoor Mass. Hotdog picnic lunch served at 11:30 a.m. Free will offering. Beer and other refreshments available. Cash raffle drawing at 1 p.m. $15,000 in cash prizes — grand prize is $5,000. (Other prizes: $2,500, $1,500, $1,000, two $750, five $500, four $250.) Tickets are $50. Only 600 tickets sold. Tickets available at church and from parishioners.

Perham • St. Henry Parish Summer Festival begins with indoor 10 a.m. Mass. Barbecue meatball dinner served from 11a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Events include bingo, cake walk and silent auction. Raffle drawings at 1:30pm.

Foley • St. John Parish Bazaar begins with indoor Mass at 10 a.m. Food and refreshment stands, booths and games for all ages open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Event includes bingo for adults and children, silent auction, bake sale, cake walk, Lucky Straw and used book stand. Raffle tickets ($10) — drawing at 3:15 p.m. Grand prize $3,000.

Freeport • Sacred Heart Parish Festival and Parade begins with outdoor polka Mass at 9 a.m. with music by LaVerne & the Starlites. (Bring chairs.) Parade with the theme “Minnesota Winter” at 10:30 a.m. Concessions, beer garden, games for kids and inflatables open at 11:30 a.m. Event includes live entertainment by Julio Goldstein Band. Quilt raffle ($5/chances) and grand raffle ($20/chances) drawings at 4 p.m.

Hillman • St. Rita Parish Bazaar starts with Mass at 10:30 a.m. Event includes chicken and ham dinner, food and refreshment stands, games for all ages and grand raffle.

Little Falls • Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Bazaar starts with indoor Mass celebrated at 10:30 a.m. with polka and gospel music by LaVerne & The Starlites. Event includes entertainment by Rock City Big Band from St. Cloud, food and beer stands, arts and crafts, games for all ages, live auction, silent auction, bingo and all-cash grand raffle drawing.

Luxemburg • St. Wendelin Parish Festival starts with indoor Mass at 10 a.m. Chicken and ham dinner with dressing and pie served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in air-conditioned indoor dining area or outdoors. Event includes food and refreshments, beer garden, bingo, pull tabs, games for all ages, silent auction, bake stand, cake spin, and inflatables. Music by Nite Owls Old Time Band and Old Tyme Country Boys. Quilt auction at 3 p.m. Raffle drawing at 4:30 p.m. (Over $15,000 in cash and prizes. Grand prize $2,000.)

Jacobs Prairie • St. James Parish hosts Corn Fest with pulled pork and hamburgers, potato salad, coleslaw, all-the-corn-you-care-to-eat, chips and fruit from 4 to 8 p.m. (Hot dogs free for children under 5.) Greenwald • Greenwald Barley Days begins with outdoor polka Mass at 7:30 p.m. on St. Andrew Parish grounds. Hamburger stand, beer garden and live music with 32 Below starting at 8:30 p.m. (Event continues Sunday.)

Greenwald • Greenwald Barley Days continues from Saturday starting with themed parade at 11 a.m. Food, beer garden and live music from noon to 4 p.m. on St. Andrew Parish grounds. Event includes beanbag tournament. Raffle at 4:30 p.m.

Pierz • St. Joseph Parish Bazaar starts with Mass at 10 a.m. Events include food and refreshments, beer garden, live music, bingo, pull tabs, dice, silent auction, gun raffle, inflatables and egg hunt for kids, quilt wheel and boutique. Grand raffle drawing starts at 4 p.m.

Rush Lake St. Lawrence Parish Festival starts with outdoor polka Mass at 10:30 a.m. with the Jerry and Joyce Band. Picnic-style lunch served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Event includes silent auction, bingo, children’s games, cake walk, refreshments, beer and pop, soft serve ice cream and cotton candy. Cold Spring St. Boniface Parish BoniFest starts with outdoor polka Mass with music by the Jolly Ramblers at 5 p.m. Food and beverage stands, games for kids and inflatables open following Mass. Music by the Jolly Ramblers from 6 to 7:45 p.m. and concert by the Fabulous Armadillos from 8 to 11 p.m. Fireworks display begins at dusk. (Event continues Sunday.)

Sunday, August 10

Albany • Seven Dolors Parish Bazaar starts with an indoor polka Mass at 10 a.m. with music by The Nite Owls. Homemade chicken and ham dinner served from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in air-conditioned, handicapped accessible parish center. Also seating outdoors. Takeout available. Event includes food and refreshments, fet kuchen, games for all ages, cash wheel, pull tabs and hand-stitched quilts — sale and auction. Live music by Two for the Road and Livewire. Grand raffle drawing ($2,000 grand prize) and cash raffle ($20,000 grand prize) at 6 p.m. Tickets available at the parish office.

RandallSt. James Parish August Fest begins with Mass at 10:30 a.m. Gorka’s chicken dinner with haluski and corn-on-the-cob and dessert served from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Event includes food and refreshments, beer stand, jumbo ice cream cones for 50¢, bingo, country store, silent auction, cake walk, games and “table of toys” raffle for kids. Live music by Jerry Bierschbach from noon to 3 p.m. Quilt raffle and free drawing for quilt. Special hunters’ raffle at 3:50 p.m. for Whitetail War Chest with Henry .44 magnum rifle. Reno Township/LowrySt. John Nepomuk Parish Picnic and Raffle begins with Mass in air-conditioned church at 10:30 a.m. BBQ picnic lunch served from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Free will offering.) Event includes bingo, games for all ages, kolache sale, beer garden and other refreshments, silent auction and raffle drawing at 3 p.m. (Parish is located 5 miles NE of Lowry and 1/4-mile W of Lake Reno.)

Wahkon Sacred Heart Summer Celebration (in conjunction with Wahkon Days) runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church. Event includes indoor food court (brats, sloppy joes, chips, beer, pop, water), bingo in an air-conditioned space, kids’ games, treat trot, bottle booth and country store. Raffle drawings for cash prizes and homemade fishing rod at 3:15 p.m. Mass celebrated at 5 p.m.

ElizabethSt. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish Annual Pork Out starts with outdoor Mass at 10 a.m. (Bring chairs.) Dinner of slow roasted pork on a spit served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Event includes beer garden, musical entertainment from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with Rick Fiedler, ice cream, bingo, games, treat walk, penny raffle, garden produce, craft and bake sale, silent auction and raffle drawing (two $1,000 top prizes) at 3 p.m.

Kent • St. Thomas Parish Fall Bazaar begins with Mass at 10 a.m. followed by turkey and ham dinner served in the church basement from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (Free will offering.) Event includes live music from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., games for all ages, crafts, country store, cake walk and theme baskets. Grand raffle drawing at 2 p.m.

Long Prairie • St. Mary of Mount Carmel Parish Fall Festival starts with Mass at 10 a.m. followed by an indoor baked chicken meal catered by the Clarissa Ballroom served 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with homemade pie and ice cream for dessert. Onamia • Holy Cross Parish Fall Fun Fest begins at 10:30 a.m. with indoor Mass followed by homemade baked chicken dinner. Event — from noon to 2:30 p.m. — includes mystery bingo, silent auction, activities for all ages, country store/bakery and cash raffle.

Big Lake • Mary of the Visitation Parish (Big Lake/Becker) Fall Festival begins with Mass at 10 a.m. followed by lunch of pulled pork sandwiches and tacos in a bag. Event includes live music, bingo (including a $100 game at 1 p.m.), coffee bar, pinball and arcade machines, silent auction, beanbags, activities for kids, and farmer’s market. Three drawings for baskets valued over $250/each at 2 p.m. Must be present to win. Festival closes at 2 p.m.

Butler • Holy Cross Parish Fall Bazaar starts with 10:30 a.m. Mass. Lunch (grilled BBQ chicken, and ham sandwiches) served after Mass. Free will offering. Elk River • St. Andrew Parish Fall Festival begins with Masses at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Stands open at 11:30 am. Music from 1 to 4 p.m. by the Elk River German Band. Events feature St. Andrew Food Court, beer garden, bingo, silent auction, children’s games, youth gaming tent, cake walk, farmers market and quilt raffle. Grand raffle drawing starts at 4:20 p.m. (Grand prize is $10,000.)

Fergus Falls • Our Lady of Victory Parish Fall Festival begins with Masses at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Turkey dinner served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in air-conditioned, handicapped accessible church hall. (Drive-thru available.) Event includes bingo, silent auction, country store, cake walk and children’s games. Grand raffle drawing at 2 p.m. Top raffle prizes include $5,000 cash plus five $1,000 cash, Grocery Shopping Dash and other prizes. Separate quilt raffle.

Morris • Assumption Parish September-Fest starts with Mass at 10 a.m. followed by dinner of ribs and meatballs, mashed potatoes, squash and homemade pies from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in handicapped accessible basement and outside. Event includes classic car show; beer garden; Vikings game on big screen at noon; hamburger/hotdog stand; soft serve ice cream; baked goods sale; homemade Mexican tamales, tacos and breads; children’s carnival games, garden produce sale; jewelry and purse stand; $1 basket raffle, board raffle and silent auction. Princeton • Christ Our Light Parish, of Princeton and Zimmerman, hosts Fall Fest, starting with a Festival Mass at 10 a.m. Bring lawn chair. Pork chop dinner beginning at 11 a.m. Event includes concessions, live music, inflatables, bingo, games for all ages, parish talent show, face painting, wine toss for adults, crafts, farmers market, e-bike raffle and cash raffles ($10,000 grand prize for Golden Harvest Raffle) at 4 p.m. Need not be present to win. Bluffton • St. John the Baptist Parish Fall Bazaar begins with Mass at 10 a.m. followed by a chicken and ham dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in handicapped accessible church basement. Meat raffle, tip board, games for all ages, lunch stand. Raffle at 3 p.m.

Sunday, October 5

West Union • St. Alexius Parish serves buffet-style Sausage Supper including smoked sausage, sauerkraut and spareribs, headcheese, mashed potatoes with gravy and desserts from noon to 6 p.m. in handicapped accessible dining room. Stands open and meal tickets on sale at 11 a.m. Drive-thru and takeout available. Event includes live music, bingo, refreshments, kettle korn, pull tabs, country store, wagon of pumpkins, gourds and squash for sale. Chokio • St. Mary’s Parish Fall Bazaar is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Event includes food, baked goods and crafts. Raffle drawing (quilt, cash, gift certificates, prizes) at noon.

Sunday, October 26

Breckenridge • St. Mary of the Presentation Parish Fall Festival begins with Mass at 10 a.m. at the church. Booths open in St. Mary’s School at 11 a.m. Roasted turkey and pork dinner with all the trimmings from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Cash raffle at 1:30 p.m.
