Sue Ek, a member of St. Augustine Parish in St. Cloud, will receive the honor for her promotion of the encyclical’s teaching.
“The Gospel tells us to care for the least among us. In our society one way to do this that makes a real difference is to look at how people are treated in the workplace,” says Bailey Ziegler, human resources director for the diocese.
DMD 2021 will be a bilingual, rally-themed event open to all, celebrating the people of the Diocese of St. Cloud.
“We want to bring Jesus into the streets as a sign of our faith,” said Vicky Gruba, one of the event’s organizers.
