Benedictine Father Joel Kelly, 80, died June 8 in the retirement center at St. John’s Abbey, Collegeville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, June 13, at 10:30 a.m. (livestreamed at www.saintjohnsabbey.org/live).
Father Nicholas Joseph Landsberger, 84, died May 26 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 1, at St. Mary’s Cathedral, St. Cloud, and will continue from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 2. A private funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 2, at St. Mary’s Cathedral.
Father Arthur Anton Vogel, 96, died May 12, at Quiet Oaks Hospice House in St. Augusta. A private funeral service was held May 19, with Bishop Donald Kettler presiding. Burial was in Assumption Cemetery in St. Cloud.
Deacon Gregory John Steele, 76, passed away on March 25, 2020 at Parkview Care Center in Buffalo. A private Mass of Christian Burial was held April 1, 2020 at St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael, Minnesota. Interment was to be at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Becker.
Benedictine Sister Jocile Robinson, 87, died at St. Scholastica Convent, St. Cloud, March 30. A private service and burial of her cremated remains will take place at St. Benedict’s Monastery, St. Joseph, on April 3. A memorial Eucharist will be celebrated at a later date when her Benedictine community, family and friends can be present.
Father Donald LeMay died on March 11 in the retirement center at St. John’s Abbey. The monks, family, and friends will celebrate the Eucharist of Christian Burial for Father Donald at 3 p.m. on March 17 in the St. John’s Abbey and University Church. Interment in St. John’s Cemetery following the service.
Father Jerome Nordick, 63, died March 10, 2020 at St. Benedict’s Senior Community, St. Cloud. A vigil prayer service will be held at 6 p.m., Sunday, March 15 at the Cathedral of St. Mary, St. Cloud. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m., Monday, March 16 at the Cathedral of St. Mary with Bishop Donald Kettler presiding. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery, Kent.
Benedictine Sister Ione (Jeffrey) Jesh, 82, died at St. Cloud Hospital Sunday, Feb. 9. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at Sacred Heart Chapel, St. Benedict’s Monastery, St. Joseph, with burial in the monastery cemetery.
