Obituaries

Deacon Andrew Kunkel, 94, died Wednesday, March 31, at his home. He was a deacon of the Diocese of St. Cloud for 40 years.

Franciscan Sister Sharon Fitzpatrick, 76, died March 6 at St. Francis Convent, Little Falls. A private burial was held March 8. A virtual Franciscan Prayer Service will be held at 7 p.m. on March 16. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date at St. Francis Convent.

Benedictine Sister Barbara (Irene) Kort, 82, died March 2 at St. Benedict’s Senior Community, St. Cloud. A private Eucharist of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Benedict’s Monastery, St. Joseph, on March 8 followed by burial of her cremated remains in the monastery cemetery. 

Franciscan Sister Mary Rosaria (Rita) Hagel, 97, died Feb. 24 at St. Francis Convent, Little Falls. A private burial will be held Feb. 26. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date.

Sister Kara (Clareen) Hennes, 73, died Feb. 17 at St. Scholastica Convent, St. Cloud. A private Eucharist of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Benedict’s Monastery on Feb. 20 followed by burial in the monastery cemetery. 

Benedictine Sister Quidella Kollmann, 96, died Feb. 6, at St. Scholastica Convent, St. Cloud. A private Eucharist of Christian Burial was be celebrated at St. Benedict’s Monastery on Feb. 12 followed by interment in the monastery cemetery. 

Benedictine Sister Dale (Lenore) Wollum, 96, died Jan. 18, at St. Scholastica Convent, St. Cloud. A private Eucharist of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Benedict’s Monastery on Jan. 21 followed by burial in the monastery cemetery. 

Franciscan Sister Mary Siena (Annella) Wald, 79, died Jan. 7, at St. Francis Convent, Little Falls. A private burial was held Jan. 9. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date.
