More than 30 foster children passed through the doors of Kathy and Tim Jones’ home in Clear Lake over the 10 years they served as licensed foster care providers. Although many have come and gone, each of them left an impression on their hearts.

Seven Catholic adults from around the Diocese of St. Cloud will be confirmed by Bishop Donald Kettler during the 5 p.m. Mass May 19, the vigil of Pentecost, at St. Mary’s Cathedral in St. Cloud.
Little Falls woman will play concert to ‘give back’ to music center
Kendra Sobania began playing the violin when she was just 5 years old. Her mother, Monique Sobania, encouraged her daughter to take lessons at the St. Francis Music Center in Little Falls, a ministry sponsored by the Franciscan sisters. Now she will perform a benefit concert for the center June 3 in Little Falls.

NCEA president: Catholic schools are responsibility of entire church
Thomas Burnford, president and CEO of the National Catholic Educational Association, spoke May 3 at the Breakfast with the Bishop fundraiser held at the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph. The annual event raises funds for the Catholic Schools Student Scholarship Fund, an endowed fund of the Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of St. Cloud that assists Catholic school students in grades one through eight.
