Over 400 people gathered Sept. 24 in St. Cloud to participate in the diocesan V Encuentro (“fifth encounter”), a national process of discerning ways in which the church in the United States can better respond to the growing Hispanic/Latino presence.

Participants of the Diocesan V Encuentro and Diocesan Ministry Day are unified in the takeaway to better understand eachother and meet people where they are.

Patricia Jimenez, communications coordinator for the National V Encuentro, has traveled to five diocesan Encuentro events around the country and attended the Sept. 24 event in St. Cloud.
