The sisters at St. Clare’s Monastery in Sauk Rapids selected Franciscan Sister Mary Matthew Tomsyck as their new abbess for a six-year term.

Vincent Charles, to be ordained Nov. 13 as a permanent deacon in Isanti, believes God sparked his interest in becoming a deacon through his involvement in various parish ministries.
