Father Nicholas Zimmer will celebrate the 60th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, June 18, at Sts. Peter and Paul Parish in Braham. A picnic in handicapped-accessible Zimmer Hall will follow the Mass.
The Mass and picnic also will honor parochial vicar Father Gabriel Walz, who will be leaving Sts. Peter and Paul, Christ the King in Cambridge and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Isanti to serve, effective June 28, as the parochial vicar of St. Andrew in Greenwald, St. John the Baptist in Meire Grove, St. Mary in Melrose and St. Michael in Spring Hill.
