Nearly 150 people from around the diocese participated in the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women’s Jubilee Year of Hope pilgrimage Aug. 7.
Pilgrims gathered at St. Paul Church in Sauk Centre and bused to designated pilgrimage sites around the diocese.
The pilgrimage started at the Divine Mercy Shrine at St. Paul’s in Sauk Centre and continued with stops at Saint John’s Abbey Church in Collegeville, Assumption (Grasshopper) Chapel in Cold Spring, St. Mary’s Cathedral in St. Cloud, St. Clare’s Monastery in Sauk Rapids and the Crosier Priory in Onamia before returning to Sauk Centre.
The stops included group prayers and activities, such as the Divine Mercy Chaplet, Mass, a rosary and informational talks, as well as time for private prayer.
This is the fourth in a series of pilgrimages the DCCW has hosted as part of local efforts to observe the National Eucharistic Revival. Each previous tour focused on a different part of the diocese.

Re the Year of Hope Bus Pilgrimage, this was an amazing day. Our day ended with the Crosier Brothers & Fathers in Onamia. They were so gracious and welcoming! We also visited St. John’s Abbey and viewed the incorruptible body of St. Peregrine, patron saint of cancer victims. What a holy day this was.
