Domus Diaper Drive in February to benefit mothers and children at Domus Transitional Housing

Thrivent Financial advisors in the St. Cloud area are sponsoring a two-week diaper drive benefiting mothers and children of Catholic Charities Domus Transitional Housing, a residential program in St. Cloud for women-led families.

The Domus Diaper Drive starts Monday, Feb. 12, and continues through Friday, Feb. 23. Donations of new diaper packages and wipes can be delivered from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday at the Thrivent office at 2700 1st St. N., Suite 100, St. Cloud. There is also a box outside of the 2700 Building to drop off items after hours. The office is located behind Firestone Complete Auto Care.

The goal is to collect 5,000 diapers; the greatest need is for diaper sizes 3 to 6. Domus Transitional Housing is for mothers age 18 and older with children from newborn to age 12. Domus serves women committed to positive change for themselves and their children by helping to seek and maintain employment, education, sobriety, permanent housing and financial stability.

For questions about the Domus Diaper Drive, contact Keri Bösl, Catholic Charities marketing and public relations manager, at keri.bosl@ccstcloud.org or by calling 320-650-1641.

Did You Know?

Did you know that one-third of Minnesota babies and toddlers don’t have enough clean diapers? Parents face the difficult choice between purchasing enough food for their family or keeping their children clean and healthy.

And did you know that public assistance like food stamps or WIC cannot be used for diapers? Parents who receive financial aid for food still bear the full burden of providing diapers.
