Three students graduated from the Emmaus Institute at Saint John’s School of Theology and Seminary Aug. 9. Jessica Goebel of Sacred Heart Parish, Freeport, Gloria Magaña Valencia of Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Morris and Fernando Cazales of Iglesia Sagar do Corazón in St. Paul were honored at a special Mass celebrated by Benedictine Father Efrain Rosado.
The institute is a four-year intellectual and ministerial formation program for lay leadership ministry and potential Latino/Hispanic diaconal candidates from the Diocese of Saint Cloud, in partnership with the SOT.
