A voice cries out … A voice cries out (Isa 40:3, 5)

Who is this that is crying out in the wilderness? How do we understand a prophet like John the Baptist? What are the dynamics of creating hope in our time? Prophets are usually not the kind of people we would invite to dinner, yet the message that they bring gets us on the right track in relating to God. We will reflect on these questions and texts of Isaiah 40–55 as a way of preparing our hearts and minds for the coming of Christ.
Registration Information
The retreat begins with supper at 5:30 p.m. on Friday and concludes after a Sunday morning conference and optional 10:30 a.m. Mass.
Cost: single-occupancy room, $260; double-occupancy room, $455; suite, $495; meals included.
