“Aging With Grace” Stay-at Home Retreat — St. Joseph, St. Benedict’s Monastery
October 12 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
St. Joseph • Spirituality Center at St. Benedict’s Monastery hosts first session of “Aging With Grace: Letting Go and Embracing New Life,” a five-day, stay-at home retreat led by Becky Van Ness, from 9 a.m. to noon. Participants will reflect on how the Paschal mystery of loss, grief and new life can help them embrace the invitation to a deeper and richer life in their later years. They will explore how a growing sense of inner freedom can help them find new meaning and embrace new ways of being. The five consecutive mornings through Friday, Oct. 16, will be interactive. Limited to 11 participants, the retreat is inspired by a “A Spirituality of the Paschal Mystery” by Ronald Rolheiser and From “Age-ing to Sage-ing” by Zalman Schachter-Shalomi. Participants need to be comfortable using Zoom for video conferencing. Afternoons and evenings will allow time for reading and continued reflection. The fee is $125. Registration and payment are due by Monday, Oct. 5. Register at https://bit.ly/31Vq0nBor call 320-363-7112.
