Annual Farm Picnic – Pierz Park

Pierz • Annual Farm Picnic begins at 1 p.m. at Pierz Park with free dinner including ham, sweet corn, potato salad, garden vegetables and ice cream. Rose Roach, executive director of the Minnesota Nurses Association, will discuss the health insurance crisis and Thom Petersen, government relations director for the Minnesota Farmers Union, will give an update on Farmer-Lender Mediation and other farm legislation.
