Annual Farm Picnic – Pierz, Pierz Park

Pierz • Annual Farm Picnic begins at 1 p.m. at Pierz Park with free dinner including ham, sweet corn, potato salad, garden vegetables, freshly baked bread and ice cream. Dr. Ron Jankowski, chair of health care for All Minnesota, offers the physicians’ view of the costly health care insurance barrier to patient care and what is being done to resolve the problem. Thom Petersen, government relations director for the Minnesota Farmers Union, will further discuss the concern of unaffordable health insurance. (Tickets needed for free dinner are available at picnic.)
