Blessing of Holtkamp-Pasi Abbey Pipe Organ — Collegeville, St. John’s Abbey

Collegeville • St. John’s Abbey hosts the solemn blessing of the expanded Holtkamp-Pasi Abbey Pipe Organ, with Benedictine Abbot John Klassen presiding, at 7 p.m. The premiere of a commissioned organ piece by William Bolcolm, “Three Intermezzi for Organ,” will be played by Benedictine Father Robert Koopmann. The newly commissioned hymn text “Never Silent In Your Praises” by Benedictine Sister Delores Dufner will be sung to the newly commissioned hymn tune “Saint John’s Abbey” by Sally Ann Morris.
