Cemetery Restoration Workshop — Alexandria, Kinkead Cemetery

Alexandria • A free cemetery restoration and repair workshop begins at 9 a.m. at Kinkead Cemetery (530 Agnes Blvd. N.W.). The workshop is sponsored by the “The 48 State Tour,” a national tour of hands-on cemetery preservation workshops led by Jonathan Appell. Common repair techniques will be discussed and performed including resetting leaning or sunken stones, joining broken stone fragments using epoxy, clamps, and bracing techniques.
