Community Block Party – Alexandria, St. Mary Parish

Alexandria • Community Block Party sponsored by St. Mary Parish — from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. — begins with pancake and sausage breakfast served from 8:30 to noon at St. Mary’s School. Event at Runestone Community Center includes food stands; wine and beer garden; games for all ages; bingo; kids’ carnival; country store; NFL on widescreen TV; live music and entertainment all afternoon. Grand raffle drawing at 5 p.m. — top prize of $20,000 car raffle or $15,000 cash. Free admission. (Mass celebrated at 8 and 10 a.m.)
