St. Francis • St. Francis of Assisi Parish Festival begins with polka Mass with music by Nathan’s Old Time Band at 10 a.m. in air-conditioned church.Chicken and ham dinner served indoors and outdoors starting at 11 a.m.Live music all day by Nathan’s Old Time Band and Bob Gerads. Event includes food and beverage stands, fried bread, bingo, country store, fancywork,cake walk and games for kids.Live auction at 2:30 p.m. Grand raffle — over 100 prizes with three top prizes of $500 each — at 7:30 p.m. (St. Francis is located 10 miles N of Albany or 25 miles SW of Little Falls on State Hwy. 238. Note: State Hwy. 238 is scheduled to be closed for construction between Co. Rd. 10 and Co. Rd. 17 north of Albany. Follow detour signs.)
