Hiroshima Nagasaki Prayer Service — Virtual

The Little Falls Franciscans are a cosponsor, along with 36 other congregations, of a virtual Hiroshima Nagasaki prayer service on August 6, 2026 at 6 p.m.
This year’s theme, “From Remembrance to Abolition,” calls participants to prayerfully honor those killed in the 1945 bombings while renewing their commitment to a world free from nuclear weapons, weapons that, today, number more than 12,000 warheads held by the world’s nuclear-armed states.
REGISTER TO ATTEND THE SERVICE
Please remember that everyone needs to register in advance to get the Zoom link to attend the event. By registering, each person will receive an email reminder ahead of the scheduled prayer service and will also receive a recording of the event afterward. It is fine to watch the prayer service as a group, but at least one person will need to register to receive the Zoom link.
