Millstream Arts Festival—St. Joseph

August 31, 2025 @ 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

Millstream Arts Festival is Gearing Up for 44th Annual Event in Central Minnesota
The Millstream Arts Festival will once again fill the main street of downtown St. Joseph with
unique art and literature, captivating performances, and kids’ activities.
Held the last Sunday in August, Millstream Arts Festival began in 1982 and quickly became a
premier outdoor juried art show attracting 5,000+ visitors each year.
When: 11 am to 5pm, Sunday, August 31, 2025
Where: Minnesota Street, from College Avenue to 2nd Street NW, St. Joseph, MN.
Millstream is part of the “vibe” of St. Joseph as a small-town destination in Minnesota west of
St. Cloud and northwest of the Twin Cities.

Millstream features:
•Art selections from 50+ artists. All artwork is juried, providing a high level of quality,
diversity and creativity — in basketry, ceramics, fibers, handmade paper, glass, jewelry,
leather, metal, wood, mixed media, painting and prints. Local and regional artists exhibit their
original works, engage directly with the public and sell their works. Some have been at the
festival year-after-year; others are emerging artists.
•A Bookend Literary Tent with 16 local authors and their latest books. Stop by to meet
returning favorites as well as authors participating for the first time. Explore fiction of all
genres; narrative nonfiction (history, memoir, politics, essays); poetry; children’s literature. Pick
up books for adults, young adults and children.
•Hands-on children’s activities with Avon Hills Folk School. Our Children’s Tent offers
meaningful, hands-on art projects, making Millstream a truly family friendly event. Adults are
welcome to participate, too, but kids will love the chance to get creative.
•Strolling music and theater performances. Live entertainment continues to be free.

Food & Drink
We recommend that festival-goers explore St. Joseph’s cornucopia of food & drink establishments — offering a wide range of unique, local culinary experiences, ice cream shops, a brewery, cidery, distillery, bars and coffee shop.

Free parking
On-street parking and parking lots are within a short walking distance of the event.

About
The Millstream Arts Festival is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting visual and
performing arts. Run by volunteers, the festival is made possible by artist & author fees, a
