St. Francis • St. Francis of Assisi Parish Festival begins with Mass with music by LaVerne & The Starlites at 10 a.m. in air-conditioned church. Chicken and ham dinner served indoors and outdoors starting at 11 a.m. Live music all day with LaVerne & The Starlites and the Slew Foot Family Band. Event includes food and beverage stands, pull-tabs, silent auction, fried bread, bingo, country store, fancywork, cake walk and games for kids. Grand raffle — over 100 prizes with three top prizes of $500 each — at 7:30 p.m. (St. Francis is located 10 miles N. of Albany or 25 miles S.W. of Little Falls on State Hwy. 238.)
