Summer Festival — Albany, Seven Dolors Parish

Albany • Seven Dolors Parish Summer Festival starts with an indoor polka Mass at 10:30 a.m. with music by The Nite Owls. Chicken dinner with homemade pies served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in air-conditioned, handicapped accessible parish center and Holy Family School basement. Also seating outdoors. Takeout available. Event includes food and refreshments, fet kuchen, dunk tank, Grandma’s stand, ring toss, bingo, games for kids, cake walk and hand-stitched quilts (sale begins at 10 a.m.). Live music by the Gene Ostendorf Band (11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) and Better Man Duo (3 to 6 p.m.). New this year! Cash raffle for $20,000 at 3 p.m. Tickets ($100) are available at the parish office, Stearns Bank, Albany, and Central Minnesota Credit Union, Albany. Grand raffle drawing ($2,000 grand prize) at 6 p.m. (Need not be present to win.)
