Prison Ministry Conference — Rosemount, St. Joseph Church

Rosemount • A free Prison Ministry Conference is planned from noon to 8:15 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, and continues from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, at St. Joseph Church (13900 Biscayne Ave. W.). On Friday, Archbishop Hebda celebrates Mass at 1 p.m. and Sister Helen Prejean, known for her work against the death penalty, is the keynote speaker (via Zoom) at 6 p.m. A Mass and healing service is at 9 a.m. on Saturday and Paul Schnell, Minnesota Dept. of Corrections Commissioner, speaks at 2 p.m. Panel discussions cover segments on forgiveness, healing and recommissioning.
