Morris • Assumption Parish September-Fest starts with Mass at 10 a.m. followed by roast beef and ham dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in handicapped accessible basement. Event includes live music by Josh Fischer; classic car show; Vikings vs. Packer game on a big screen in beer garden; soft serve ice cream; baked goods sale including fresh doughnuts; homemade Mexican tamales and breads; chili cook-off (vote for your favorite); dunk tank; petting zoo, carnival games and prizes for children; garden produce sale; arts and crafts; jewelry and purse stand; $1 basket raffle, board raffle and silent auction (auctions at 1:30 p.m.); Grand raffle drawing at 3 p.m. ($1,000 top prize).
