Summerfest — Rice, Immaculate Conception Parish

Rice • Immaculate Conception Parish Summerfest begins with outdoor Mass “under the pines” with music by the Slew Foot Family Band at 10 a.m. Roast pork dinner with homemade pies served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in air-conditioned hall. Pedal tractor pull competition at 12:30 p.m. Beer, pop and food stands, cash bingo, pull tabs, games for children including bingo and barrel train rides, cake walk, country store, grandma’s basement, chance stand, basket raffle, silent auction, nail lumberjack contest — all from noon to 5 p.m. Variety of music from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. including Slew Foot Family Band and BLT Band. Grand raffle (over $6,500 in prizes) starts at 5 p.m.
