Today the Church seeks to live out what was learned during the Synod on Synodality (2021-24), and to continue walking together. Reflect with us how synodality is rooted in Vatican II and finds its expression in the papacies of Francis and Leo XIV.
This dynamic presentation will look at what is happening in the church today from both theological and practical perspectives and imagine what the future of synodality might look like.
Dr. Kristin Colberg is a professor of theology at the College of Saint Benedict, Saint John’s University and Saint John’s School of Theology and Seminary. She was the only Vatican-appointed member from the United States on the theological commission supporting the Synod on Synodality.
