Fargo Diocese hosts women’s conference

The Diocese of Fargo, North Dakota, is hosting a Redeemed Women’s Conference March 11 at the Holiday Inn in Fargo. The conference will be a time for women to discover more richly their identity as “beloved daughters of the Father,” independent of what they do or have done.

Presenters for the conference include Colleen Carroll Campbell; Sister Mary Elizabeth, vicar general of the Sisters of Life; Eric Genuis; Roxanne Salonen; Jennifer Anderson; Renae Duppong and Dr. James Link. The day begins at 8 a.m. and ends after the 5 p.m. Mass with Bishop John Folda. Confession and eucharistic adoration will be available throughout the day.

The fee for the conference is $25; after Feb. 19 the fee is $35; young women ages 14 through 17 attending with an adult are free. There is no charge for women religious. A block of rooms at the Holiday Inn has been reserved under “Diocese of Fargo” at $119 per night for both March 10 and 11; request a room by calling 701-282-2700.
