Fatima topic of DCCW Conference

All women in the St. Cloud Diocese are invited to attend the 64th Annual Diocesan Council of Catholic Women Fall Conference Saturday, Sept. 16, on the theme “Faith, Family and Fatima.”

Hosted by the Little Falls Deanery and sponsored by the St. Cloud CCW, it will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 208 West Broadway, Little Falls.

Father Joseph Herzing, pastor of the parishes of Holy Family in Belle River, and St. Mary and Our Lady of Lourdes, both in Little Falls, is the morning speaker. Chris Codden is the afternoon speaker.

At 11 a.m., Bishop Donald Kettler will celebrate Mass with other clergy. The installation of officers will follow Mass.

The day begins at 8:30 a.m. with registration and refreshments and includes praying the rosary, lunch, exhibits, reports of the national convention and door prizes. It ends about 3 p.m. after closing prayer.

The registration fee is $15 by Sept. 10 and $20 afterwards. Checks should be made payable to “Little Falls Deanery” and mailed to Lora Knafla, 11719 16th Ave. NW, Rice, MN 56367.
