Fortnight for Freedom Holy Hour set for June 26 at St. Mary’s Cathedral

Bishop Donald Kettler will preside at a holy hour from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, June 26, at St. Mary’s Cathedral in St. Cloud as part of the commemoration of the Fortnight for Freedom.

The bishop will lead worshipers in prayer and adoration for the intention of defending life, marriage and religious liberty.

The Fortnight for Freedom is the U.S. church’s annual observance highlighting the importance of defending religious freedom.  It runs from June 21 — the vigil of the feasts of St. John Fisher and St. Thomas More — to the Fourth of July.

This year’s theme is “Freedom for Mission.”
