Heath care professionals and volunteers honored with special Mass and reception

Current and retired health care professionals and volunteers from around the diocese gathered Oct. 20 in the Sacred Heart Chapel of St. Benedict’s Monastery in St. Joseph for a special Mass and blessing with Bishop Donald Kettler. The Mass was held to acknowledge the caring outreach practiced by health care professionals. A collection taken during the Mass will fund scholarships for the Central Minnesota Faith Community Nurse Partnership Foundation to support classes to train new Faith Community Nurses.
