Local seminarian installed as acolyte

Bishop Donald Kettler conferred the Ministry of Acolyte on five seminarians — including Michael Grundhoefer of the Diocese of St. Cloud, pictured above at right — on Oct. 12 at Sacred Heart Seminary and School of Theology in Hales Corners, Wisconsin. The ministry is an important milestone on the path to priesthood. Grundhoefer is from St. Anthony Parish in St. Cloud. The seminary in suburban Milwaukee specializes in the formation of men over 30, with more than 30 U.S. and Canadian dioceses and religious orders using it for the formation of their future priests.
