MCC training teaches how to respond to pro-choice arguments

“A Fresh Approach to Conversations about Abortion” training is from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1,  at Lumen Christi Catholic Community, 2055 Bohland Ave., St. Paul. National pro-life leader Emily Albrecht of the Equal Rights Institute is the trainer for this event. Those who attend will gain practical tools to use in future conversations with those who defend abortion.

Participants may register for the full day or a half day. Fees for adults are $20/full-day or $15/half-day. Students (high school and college) are $15/full-day or $10 half-day. Box lunches are offered at a subsidized cost of $5 and may be ordered during registration checkout. Individuals may also bring their own lunch. (There will not be an opportunity to leave and pick up a lunch elsewhere.) An optional anticipatory Mass will be celebrated at 4:30 p.m. in the parish church.
