Minnesota Catholic Home Education Conference set for June 2-3 in St. Paul

The Minnesota Catholic Home Education Conference and Curriculum Fair is Friday and Saturday, June 2-3, at St. Paul College, 235 Marshall Ave., St. Paul.

The event opens from 4 to 8:30 p.m. Friday with a curriculum fair and used book sale. Pam Barnhill, host of “Your Morning Podcast,” is the keynote speaker for the event. She gives a presentation at 7 p.m. titled “Let’s gather: Exploring the wonder, wisdom and worship of learning at home.”

The conference continues Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. with vendors, workshops, speakers, networking opportunities and an informal gathering of parents of children with special needs.

Barnhill gives the keynote titled “Leaders don’t eat their young: How to lead well in your homeschool without sacrificing” at 9:30 a.m. and a presentation titled “Six simple hacks that will change your homeschool” at 3 p.m. Other speakers include Phillip Campbell, Nancy Bjorkman, Shannon Wendt, Cathie Baier, Marcie Stokman and Ana Braga-Henebry.
