Minnesota healthcare symposium is Sept. 20

The Minnesota Catholic Conference is sponsoring a conversation on “Healthcare in Minnesota: A Symposium Considering Contemporary Challenges” from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Sept. 20, at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul.

Clergy, professionals and those in related fields are encouraged to hear Minnesota’s bishops, experts and Catholic healthcare professionals. Topics include healthcare reform, the opioid crisis and gender theory.

The speakers include Franciscan Sister Renee Mirkes of the Pope Paul VI Institute, Sally Satel of the American Enterprise Institute and Meghan Goodwin from the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.
