Parish festivals for June

SUNDAY, JUNE 9

Belle PrairieHoly Family Parish Heritage Festival starts at 10:30 a.m. with outdoor polka Mass with music by LaVerne & the Starlites followed by Alan Godage and Sundown playing classical country. Chicken/ham dinner after Mass. Games for all ages, petting zoo, cake walk, quilt raffle, silent auction, hammerschlagen, country store, cash bingo, beer garden/food booths and raffle drawing.

Jacobs PrairieSt. James Parish Bazaar starts with outdoor Mass at 9 a.m. Breakfast served from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Bingo, cake walk, country store, kids’ inflatables, classic car display (1 to 4 p.m.), food stands/beer garden. The Wildwoods perform from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Silent auction. Quilt auction. Cash raffle.

SATURDAY, JUNE 22
St. Martin St. Martin Parish Festival starts with 1K for youth and 5K walk/run at 10 a.m. Stands open 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. PeeWee Home Run Derby, beanbag tournament, auto show, food/refreshments, music by LeRoy Schlangen and St. Martin Community Band, games for kids, forgotten treasure stand and meat raffle. Bluegrass Mass at 5 p.m. Levi Pelzer Band plays from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. Quilt auction. Cash raffle. St. Joseph Society ATV raffle.

St. AugustaSt. Mary, Help of Christians Parish Festival starts with Gussie Gallop Fun Run/Walk (5K at 8:15 a.m., 1K at 9:15 a.m.). Indoor Mass at 5 p.m. Beer garden/ food stands open at 6 p.m. Silent auction. Firefighters waterball competition. Dance — music by BLT and DiamondBack from 6 p.m. to midnight. (Festival continues Sunday.)

SUNDAY, JUNE 23
BrennyvilleSt. Elizabeth Parish Festival begins with Mass at 10 a.m. Beer wagon/ lunch stands, fancywork, prize bingo, pull tabs, basket raffle, garden stand, mystery gifts, cake walk, youth softball games and activities for kids up to 16 with one-time ticket charge for all day. Quilt auction. Grand raffle. Gun raffle — visit www.sesjpp.org.

Little Falls St. Mary Parish Block Party begins after 8 a.m. Mass and ends at 3 p.m. Event features live music, food, ice cream, beer and a bean bag tournament.

St. AugustaSt. Mary, Help of Christians Parish Festival continues with indoor polka Mass at 10 a.m. Chicken dinner served from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Bingo, games, inflatables, kids’ pedal tractor pull, food, beer garden, crafts/fancy work, silent auction. Kevin Lange and the Mississippi Drifters play from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Quilt auction. Grand raffle.

SATURDAY, JUNE 29
MelroseSt. Mary’s Parish polka Mass begins at 4 p.m. at Sauk River Park. Parish raffle drawing — with 10 cash prizes (grand prize of $20,000 and second prize of $5,000) held at park around 8:45 p.m. Tickets $100. (Must be 18/older. Need not be present to win.) SUNDAY, JUNE 30
St. AnnaImmaculate Conception Church Bazaar begins with 10 a.m. Mass. Live music featuring The Preston and Paulzine Band from 1 to 5 p.m. Chicken and ham dinner starts at 11 a.m. Beer/pop stands, food court, silent auction, bingo, cake walk, pull tabs, paddle wheel, country store and games for kids. Quilt raffle, gun raffle (Henry Golden Boy .22 WMR package) and cash raffle drawings.
