Seven students from the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University were welcomed into the Catholic Church April 27 during a special Mass with Bishop Patrick Neary in the Sacred Heart Chapel at Saint Benedict’s Monastery in St. Joseph. Janessa Nelson and Christopher Nguyen were baptized and received Communion, reconciliation and confirmation. Jack Klein, Will Klein, Kelly Rivera, and Samantha Anderson received Communion, reconciliation and confirmation and Alexis Torres was confirmed during the celebration.
