Families from around the diocese gathered April 25, the Saturday before Good Shepherd Sunday, for “The Shepherd is Calling,” an event sponsored by the diocesan Vocation Office. The event, for parents and their elementary school-age children seeking to learn more about Jesus, the Good Shepherd, was held at the Mike and Alice Westrich farm in Burtrum and included adoration, visits with seminarians, crafts and a chance to learn about the sheep.
