A Mass of Hope and Healing was celebrated Oct. 27 at Sacred Heart Church, part of the One in Christ Area Catholic Community, in Sauk Rapids. The Mass was for couples or families who have suffered the loss of a child in any way, including from miscarriage, illness, abortion, SIDS, or accident, and for those suffering infertility.
During the Mass, participants were invited forward to write down names remembering those children who have died. They also lit candles in their honor during the prayers of the faithful.
Father Tom Knoblach celebrated the Mass with Deacon Joe Kresky assisting.
