Catholics from around the diocese are invited to gather Friday, Sept. 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Seven Dolors Church in Albany for a day of reflection on the Eucharist and the four pillars of stewardship.
This free Stewardship Day retreat will include talks by Father Michael Troha, a priest of the Diocese of Cleveland for 42 years, who has successfully developed stewardship as a way of life at his parishes. Both Immaculate Conception in Willoughby, Ohio, and St. Ignatius in Cleveland have experienced increases in spiritual growth, parishioner ownership, parishioner involvement and financial giving.
The retreat also will include time for quiet reflection, small-group discussion, lunch, and Mass with Bishop Donald Kettler.
